Content

Fusion Supplier Qualification Management enables you to evaluate suppliers according to a set of pre-defined criteria. While qualifications are used to qualify suppliers for a particular aspect, such as financial viability or environmental compliance; assessments can consist of multiple aspects of the supplier and qualify supplier as a whole.

For example, you can create a qualification model called “Preferred Supplier Program”. It includes two qualification areas: Financial Viability and Environmental Compliance.

Then you can assess suppliers based on this qualification model.

In this example, supplier Acme Corp. has an assessment for Preferred Supplier Program. This assessment contains two qualifications, one for financial viability and the other for environmental compliance. Each of these qualifications is assigned an outcome based on responses from suppliers and internal users. Then based on the outcomes of these two qualifications, the assessment is assigned an outcome of Preferred.
