We acquired a company and are in the process of migrating the employees and projects into Oracle ERP Cloud. When we migrated the employees into Oracle HCM cloud, we set the new employee start date to the date of merger which is in July 2019. We could not migrate them with their original hire dates because the managers in our company don't have a hire date as old as them. This is the limitation enforced by HCM and so we unanimously chose everyone from the acquired company to have a hire date as that of the merger date. However, the
