Position Sync Reasons to Show on Manage Employment

How do you get specific reasons to show from Synchronization from Postion on Manage Employment?

If I use Position Synchronization and update a position record, the reason on position record is related to the Update Position (PER_POS_UPD) action.  But then a "Synchronization from Position" action (ORA_POS_SYNC) is what gets loaded on Manage Employment for employees in that position.  How can I associate different reasons for the ORA_POS_SYNC?  We want to have a reason of Department Change or Title Change appear on Manage Employment if a record is loaded from the sync process.
