I'm looking for some advice on managing a scenario that has just presented regarding updates to our Entity dimension.

The scenario relates to changes in our entity hierarchy where all children of a parent have been relocated to another parent, leaving the original parent node now at level zero and populated with data. Aggregations then catch the old parent node value and roll it up the tree in addition to the relocated children under their new parent.. causing duplication. example below:
