"User is not authorized on this service instance." message from EPBCS

Summary

We are moving from Planning / PBCS to Enterprise / EPBCS and are getting an error when trying to log into the new pods.

Content

We have been able to log into the normal Planning pods. However we have just had some new EPBCS pods provisioned. I have given myself the Service Administrator role. However when I try to log into the pod, I get two messages:

1st:   "You are being redirected, please wait"

Then I get forwarded to the second message:   "User is not authorized on this service instance"

Therefore I'm unable to log into the new pods. This is despite having provisioned my user a number of hours ago. I can't log in through EPM Automate either.
