Position Synchronization Enabled But Not Working

I enabled Position Sync at the Enterprise level effective 12/26/2019 (in Test pod). When I update a position with an effective date on or after 12/26 and change a field, such as Department or Job, that I have checked to be synchronized, no impacted assignments display for incumbents, and after I submit, the Manage Employment records on the incumbents have not been updated (no synchronize from position record inserted). I have an SR open with Oracle and have not yet gotten a response on how to resolve this issue.
