Approval Rule That Does Not Escalate Or Expire

Approval Rule That Does Not Escalate Or ExpireContent
Hello Everyone,
We would like to change our BPM Worklist approval rules for several common tasks (manage employment, transfers, change work hours, etc.) so that they do not escalate or expire.
However, when such transactions remain unapproved by approver 1, approver 2, or approver 3 for a certain period of time we would like to notify the approver's manager so that the manager can contact the approver and ask them to approve the transaction so that it can be completed.
Is there a way we can notify the manager for this scenario using BPM Worklist or Alerts Composer?
