OMC APM Agents, is it better at the startup scripts or WLS Console startup?

Given the option to either include the apm jar file in the WLS Domain OS startup scripts or the WLS Admin Console Startup options, which one is better?

Is there any preference or problem with supportability?

 

The Docs clearly state to use the WLS Domain OS startup scripts, but there are some circumstances when the standard WLS OS scripts are not used to start up the WLS Managed Servers or Domains.

 

Please advise.
