Payables to Assets - track as assets not checked

We've set up a suspense account in the GL (as an asset acount) to track asset clearing from Payables, added the clearing combination to the asset category configuration, and then created a distribution combination to make it easier to enter the combo.

However, when we select the distribution combination to the invoice line, the 'track as asset' option is not checked automatically. My understanding is that the option should be selected automatically if an asset account is selected.

Anyone else face this?
