Lock data in Essbase

Content

Hi everyone,

Is there any way to prevent FDMEE from loading data in Essbase/Planning onto a historic period that should remain untouched?

In this context, what happened is my client had closed Jan FY18 for the Actual scenario on their Planning application. When loading data for Feb FY18 using FDMEE, the period was left pointing to Jan, so Jan data was overwritten with Feb's, and now they ask if there's a way to set Planning and/or Essbase so it rejects data loads on closed periods (more or less in the way you can do that in HFM).

Howdy, Stranger!
