Is it possible to suppress PO Communication only for change orders

Hi All,

We wanted to know if there is a way to suppress PO Communication only for change orders and not for Newly created PO's. We know that we can edit the PO and manually change the communication method to None. Since all our PO's are auto created from requisition, we wanted to know if there is any profile option or setup which can control the communication of PO PDF.

We tried using communicate purchase orders program. Wen can schedule it only for Newly Created PO's but the downside is users can still go and create change orders on PO and if approved, it automatically submits the PO PDF. Any idea is welcome.
