Business Requirement :

1) Self Service Receipts - Receiving will be performed by requester, using My Receipts option.

2) Warehouse Receipts - Inventory is maintained in a 3rd party system and warehouse receipts are imported through FBDI import process with specific receipt number, matching to the receipt number/transaction ID from 3rd party system.

 

For Self Service Receipts, receipt number generation under receiving parameters is setup to Automatic, which contradicts with importing warehouse receipts with specific receipt number using FBDI import. With the above configurations, Warehouse receipts gets into error which performing a FBDI import for receipts with specific receipt number.
