Learning alerts - filtering by business unit

Hi there

Just wondering if anybody knows if we are able to contextualise who alerts go out to for Learning assignments using work structure information?

For example, we want to send new learning assignment alert by email to everyone in our organisation except for the food store colleagues as they do not have corporate email addresses. So is there a method to stop them from being sent the alert using our Food Store business unit for example?
