Has anyone passed SSO credentials to automate connections in Excel

I'm familiar with how to connect on-prem and hosted solutions where login credentials are non-SSO.  However, we are strictly a cloud organization with single sign-on login only.  I have not been able to figure out how to use HypSetSSO to connect to a cube and refresh Smartview sheets via vba.  I assume the SSO token changes each time.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with this / can provide some input on how to tackle this.
