Area of Responsibility - Global Transfers

edited Feb 12, 2020 9:55PM in Human Capital Management 10 comments

Summary

Issue with active Area of Responsibility records on an Inactive Assignment

Content

We have encountered an issue where employees still have access to data based on their previous Areas of Responsibility after they are Global Transferred, even though the AoR on their new assignment has changed.

Example:

1. Employee has access to LE 123 via AoR on their current assignment

2. Employee is global transferred to a new LE with a different set of AoR (not including LE 123)

3. Employee can still access employees in LE 123 after their global transfer is effective

In order to stop this we have had to manually delete or end date the previous Area of Responsibility records after the global transfer is processed.

Howdy, Stranger!
