Concatenate a case statement with fields

edited Feb 13, 2020 9:17PM in Reporting and Analytics for HCM 3 comments

Summary

I want to concatenate a case statement with a field in OTBI. How would i do so?

Content

 "Worker"."Person Type",
    CASE
        WHEN ( "Assignment Manager List Unsecured"."Manager Flag Code" = 'Y' ) THEN
            COUNT(DISTINCT "Assignment Manager (Unsecured)"."Person name1")
        ELSE
            null
    END
FROM
"Workforce Management - Worker Assignment Real Time"

I want to transform the above and concatenate the person type and count person name 1.

example:

    CASE
        WHEN ( "Assignment Manager List Unsecured"."Manager Flag Code" = 'Y' ) THEN
         "Worker"."Person Type" || ',' || COUNT(DISTINCT "Assignment Manager (Unsecured)"."Person name1")
        ELSE
            null
    END
FROM
"Workforce Management - Worker Assignment Real Time"
