Scheduling the 'Calculate Accruals and Balances' job multiple times with different parameters

Hey all,

We have a need to schedule the 'Calculate Accruals and Balances' job to run multiple times with different parameters (namely the effective date and the plan). it needs to have a schedule attached to it too with specific start and end dates, not just a one-off run.

We can of course do this via the UI, but last year scheduling these manually took about 4 hours of effort (we have about 100 jobs to schedule!) and we need to do this every year.

Has anyone got any ideas on how we might do this better? I toyed with scheduling via the API but you must set up the actual schedule frequencies first and then attach the job to the schedule.
