Attachments in Responsive UI Flows

Where do the attachments uploaded in the responsive flows go?

Hi,

I am wondering when a user uploads an attachment relevant to a particular workflow (An employee may upload a doctors note to justify absence) where do these attachments get stored? I was assuming that anything added using this feature would get uploaded to that person's Document Records but from my testing this doesn't seem to be the case.

Has anyone got any suggestions on this? Or is it a case that when an attachment is added to a workflow and goes for approval, the approver has to download and then re-upload the attachment to Document Records if there is a requirement for it to be kept?
