Approval of intercompany transaction fails - error message

We are experiencing an issue with approval of intercompany transactions.

After approving the transaction the batch ends in error with the following message.

The intercompany transaction failed approval because a provider intercompany account couldn''t be generated based on the intercompany balancing rules. (FUN-720257)

However, I checked the balancing rules and everything seems to be OK in our view.
