Performance Impact on Essbase - Shared Services Audit
Summary
Performance Impact on Essbase - Shared Services AuditContent
Since Essbase does not store anything on the relational side and If Our Environment is an essbase only environment would there be any impact to performance by turning on Auditing in Shared Services? My understanding is that turning on auditing affects performance because it writes back to database and that could cause a slight delay if you were retrieving something from the said database. Please let me know if my assumption is wrong and why there would be a performance impact regardless of whether the application(in this case Essbase) has anything to do with a Relational DB.
