In setup and maintenance through Configure Procurement Business Function the URL for both prospective as well as spend authorized supplier registrations is visible per procurement Business Unit. This URL can be distributed amongst multiple parties who can each register themselves.

My customer wants to know if this can be in any way be secured, so if the URL is shared with party A contact person X, only contact person X can enter the URL and register the supplier. This is to ensure that the procurement contact person (so the person known to the procurement team) is registering the supplier, and not some unauthorized person. Does anyone have the same experience and tips how to make this registration more secure? Is there any out-of-the box validations available?
