Negotiation contract terms – fixing common setup issues

In Oracle Sourcing cloud, you can add contract terms to a negotiation from a contract terms template. Beginning in 19D, a new feature allows you to create an enterprise contract from the negotiation (opt-in is required).

Following are common troubleshooting questions for these features:

  1. I cannot find the contract terms template I have created while adding contract terms or creating a contract
  2. In the create contract popup, the contract type I have created is not visible
  3. Not able to create a contract, getting error ‘You cannot create a contract because you are not defined as a resource.’
  4. Supplier bidder not able to download contract terms, getting error ‘You must provide valid contract identification details for this contract.’

Howdy, Stranger!
