We seem to be getting hit with random error messages and strangely "widget" errors as well

Is anyone else receiving a high volume of random error messages today?  Application Errors as well as Errors rendering this widget.
We've handled an application error in the past on rare occasions, - but it has been just that - rare.
The widget error is something new as we've not seen those before.   However we are receiving quite the volume of calls on these today and I'm wondering if anyone else has?
