How to get the Smart Push functionality to work in Dashboards when they are being utilized via Smart

When submitting data for an EPBCS Dashboard in Excel via the Smart View 11.1.2.5.910 (Build 172) add-in, the Smart Push for the underlying simple forms being saved does not run at all.

While in a Dashboard accessed via the Smart View 11.1.2.5.910 (Build 172) add-in, saving data updates in the worksheet to the data source via the "Submit Data" button does not run the Smart Push configured for the underlying Simple Form.

This same behaviour is observed while in a Dashboard accessed via the EPBCS web interface for the Global Save button. Smart Push runs without issues when the underlying Simple Forms are accessed and saved using the custom navigation flows. Additionally, when each simple form is opened individually through the dashboard (i.e. maximized), the in-form save runs the Smart Push without issues.
