Summary

ASO Aggregation Issues with FX Conversion Member Formulas

Content

Dear Essbase community,

We are having issues with a currency conversion member formula where USD values are not aggregating to the parent members for the other dimension.  Here are the dimensions in our PBCS ASO cube:

  1. Account (dynamic)
  2. Period (stored)
  3. Currency = Local (stored) and USD (dynamic)
  4. Scenario (stored)
  5. Entity (stored)
  6. Product (stored)
  7. Cost Center (stored)
  8. Project (stored)

We tried to add a new parent "USD Consolidated" member that is set to store and put the "USD" member with the member formula as a child.   We know that we can setup an ASO procedural to calculate level 0 and have the data aggregate for the parent members, but we were able to get this to work in our on-prem ASO cube.  Any insights would be highly appreciated?

Howdy, Stranger!
