Using Recurring/Repeating Absence Option??

Gathering feedback on use of Repeating option in Classic Absence Entry

The classic Absence Entry option allowed users to enter absences and repeat the absence weekly.  We are evaluating the use of this feature.  In your experience, is this a heavily used option and also is weekly repeating option sufficient...?  or would other options be needed, ie. monthly?
