we are seeing some network latency issues while doing some testing due to network configuration. we observed that different networks (Open/Secured) give different results when testing the performance of the application (webforms/refreshes etc).

can you help us understand how Excel/Smart view connect to the Oracle Cloud?  how is this configured in the cloud and how the traffic/request is handled Our Network guy was asking if the connection is direct or could be configured to use proxy settings. It seems that if we could configure it to use a proxy the traffic would have fewer restrictions and could flow more quickly.
