How to delete the absence type from the Manage Absence Type page

I want to delete the Absence Type and it is not letting me delete

Dear Team,

I need to delete the Absence Type from the Manage Absence Type page. The particular Absence type is tagged to an employee, I tried to delete the Absence type from employee but I don't have the option, only option is to withdraw which I have done it.

While deleting the Absence Type, I am getting an error message: "You can't delete the master record because a matching  detailed record exists".

Would appreciate if anyone can help in providing with the solution.
