Is there a good way to change a due date on existing learners in an initiative?

Other than withdrawing all existing assignments and creating a new initiative with a new initial due date or going into each learners course assignment and editing the assignment is there a way to change the due dates for people who had the initial assignment? (The area decided to extend due dates for a few of their initiatives).
