Summary

Gender and DOB are mandatory for contacts in the responsive UI pages

We have noticed that in HCM Design Studio there are legislative rules on the Personal Details page for Gender and DOB to be mandatory.  We have also noticed that the same legislative rules appear on the Family and Emergency Contacts page.  This means that when the employee's in those countries create a new contact the Gender and DOB fields are also mandatory for their contacts. 

Our in country team have expressed concerns, quoting GDPR - which is absolutely correct.

The legislation rule applies to the following countries:
