What is the size for pics in News and Announcements

Hello!

We are trying to upload pics (jpegs) for use in the News and Announcements area, however we are having issues getting the picture to fit.  I understand that you can expand the width and height to capture your picture, but no matter how small I make it, it is still too large.

Does anyone have the exact measurements required for a pic or the pixels required?  This would make it much easier!
