The SVG printed Org chart (thru Directory) loses text when imported to Word/PPT and image editors.
Summary
We want to be able to use the org chart print functionality but the only acceptable layout is the SVG format. When we print this format and try to import the file into Word or PPT we lose the textContent
We have recently enabled the responsive page for the directory so that business leaders can view and print their Organization charts.
Although Oracle delivers PPT and PDF formats, the business doesn't like the layout these produce. They are expecting a format as close the UI as possible, SVG is closest to that and acceptable to the business.
The SVG file works fine in browsers but all text is lost when we import the SVG format into Word, PowerPoint or try to edit it in an SVG compatible editor.
