Two Seniority Dates; -3 Length of Service

edited Mar 31, 2020 5:08PM in Human Capital Management 4 comments

Summary

Employees have two seniority dates, where the second has been corrected, and the length of service is -3

Evening CCC

We have a small contingent of employees that appear to have two seniority dates. For these employees, it's incorrect as they have not left the business.

The second seniority date has the hallmarks of being corrected, it shows the number of days adjusted, the comments state "data correction". But they all, regardless of the number of days changed, state the length of service as -3 days (file attached)

Ideally, we would like to remove the second seniority date line as it appears to be incorrect and surplus to requirements. We have had advice to change the days altered to zero, but this will create an incorrect seniority date on the second row (which obviously we won't want)

Howdy, Stranger!
