Service connectors with agents in PCS

Hi

    i understand that we can connect to on premise applications through REST/SOAP using Agents in OIC.  But if we have to define a connector in PCS for those APIs, how to do that? Its not able to validate the IP of On premise application as expected. Is it possible to specify agents so that connectivity goes through that?  Or only way out is build an integration in OIC with request/response and call it out from Process?
