how to make few types of contact info non editable?

Hi,

we want work phone and few other contact types as non editable for employees. I tried personalization by removing pencil icon.  But we also have Add option on page. 

Employees should be able to add and edit only non work type contact info such as personal email, home phone etc. and work phone,work email should be read only. Any idea how to achieve this?  profile option/ Priv/ Desgn studio or any other way?
