How do I interpret 'Original Plan' and 'Plan with Auto Indexes' in the AI html reports?

Hi,

I've enabled Auto Indexing (AI) on our Autonomous Data Warehouse (in Oracle19c).

The first report I ran for the past 24 hours is very self explainatory and it clearly shows the improvements for, before enabling AI (Original Plan) vs after enabling AI (Plan with Auto Indexes). Attached here (report1).

Now that, AI is running in the background, every day I've been collecting this report (for the past 2 days). In these reports, does anyone know how to interpret, Original Plan vs Plan with Auto Indexes (attached - report2 and report3). Here, the disk reads and cost factors are more in 'Plan with Auto Indexes' vs the 'Original Plan'. Does anyone have an explaination for this or pointers to any documentation that would explain these reports (particularly for 'Original Plan' vs 'Plan with Auto Indexes' in report2 and report3). 

These data points are critical for us to move towards Oracle19c and AI. Please help
