How to publish a material Cost Adjustment

I go to the Manage Cost Adjustment Screen.

I am Creating a new Cost Adjustment - With Cost Adjustment Type = Perpetual Avg Item Cost.

In The next page select the Cost Org, Cost Book and item for which you want to do the adjustment --> Adjust the material avg cost in the next screen and then submit.

My question is --> After the submit - I  dont see my costs adjusted. Am I missing something?

Do we need to run any other program or any approval for this adjustment to take place? Kindly suggest.
