Help with character maximum in descriptive flex fields for Document Record

Content

I built out Descriptive Flex Fields for Disciplinary Action so that managers would have access to view these in Document Record.  We created an HDL to load our old rows from Profile Mgmt to this new area in Document Record and it will not allow any more than 150 characters no matter what value set you use.  Has anyone else also had this issue and possibly found a resolve?
