im new with sub-ledger Journals.

What will be the Effect of supporting reference?

1) With balance

2) Without Balance 

 

With balances, if i link a PO Number or the Invoice Number, there is some configuration required in the Supporting references which is not clear how it works.What sources and event class to select. how it impacts to the TB  and AP trial balance.It will appear int he AP reports?

another example, If we want to add Fixed Assets in the Subledger Journal and with supporting reference we link it to the Asset Number .. Will it display in the FA module as well. at what level in the sourcing information?
