Are there any impact on Legacy Fusion HCM to bringing to a new ERP Cloud in a same POD(SGI

Summary

Need to know If there is an impact to our existing Fusion HCM when we bring in to our new ERP Cloud in a Single Global Instance(SGI)

Content

Dear Oracle SaaS ERP Guru.

Currently we are in a process of migrating our EBS application release 12.2.7 to Oracle ERP Cloud. Our HR Department has used Oracle HCM Fusion since 2015.

Oracle SaaS application team suggests we have both our new ERP Cloud and existing Oracle Fusion HCM in the same environment or Point of Delivery (POD). This way all our applications are located in the same environment and this will avoid unnecessary integration between our new ERP Cloud and existing HCM Fusion that will be placed in the same environment(POD). They call this an implementation of Single Global Instance(SGI)

Howdy, Stranger!
