Inherited data from Master to Child Orgs

A group is not inheriting data from master to child org.

Hello. 

We made a change to the context usage for our 'General' Group of attributes, switching the Master to Child Organization from 'None' to 'Inherited'. 

The change is not reflected in the child Orgs, meaning we can have different data in Master and Child orgs (not our desire).

 We had success changing another group to inherited following the same steps. 

 

Question is:

The General group is shared between the PIM and PD modules, does this have an impact on the inheritance feature? Or why do we not see the change reflected?
