Custom fields not updatable when document status is different from DRAFT

Hi!

I created some custom fields in the contract header object using application composer and although they are set to "updatable" without any rule, I can't update them when the document is in, for example, 'ACTIVE' status.

Do you guys have any suggestion on how to make the custom fields updatable regardless the document status?
