Validation of Date of Birth Entered

Validating date of birth

Content

Hi,

We have had the situation where a new employee's date of birth was entered as the year 1060 instead of 1960.  This caused us numerous problems with downstream systems and an amount of work there to resolve.

Is there anyway through the front end of the application or through expression language to do some validation on the date, for example the date cannot be more than 80 years ago for example?

If not through the application is there another way to do this?

Any pointers are appreciated

Kind regards

Ian
