Existing absence type of employee not impacting balance of new plan

Content

We have an accrual plan in the system say Old plan in system. An absence type also mapped with this plan.

 Balance already calculated to the current date.

 Due to business requirement, A new plan to be developed to replace an old plan.

 The new plan enrolled in an employee with effective date 01/01/2020 and mapped to the same absence type.

 Old plan enrollment is deleted for existing employees.

 The issue is that the existing absence type of employee not impacting the balance of the new plan.

 Any inputs on how the absence type of existing employee will be impacted in the balance calculation of the new plan.
