This knowledge article comes courtesy of the analysis and interactions with support mainly by my colleague Mara Prieto. After a lot of discussion and some detailed analysis and communication, one of the key customer questions recently posed on our internal forums was answered. This article is a summary of that analysis.

Business Problem:

A customer had a requisition with 4 lines. Of the 4 lines, 3 lines were searchable in one Procurement BU in the Process Requisitions queue while one of them was available in a different Procurement BU. Now, the customer did not want this behavior but was not sure what caused it and how to prevent it from occurring going forward. Now the first thing to isolate is how a Procurement BU is assigned to a requisition line when the requisition is to be processed into a purchase order.
