How to Retire the Member assets of Group assets?

Content

Hi Team,

I am interested to know, how to handle the retirement for the below scenario.

I have Group Asset GP1(tracking method as None) with amount 10000

Member asset A1 - 2000, A2 - 3000 & A3 - 5000

I submitted depreciation for current month and depreciation of 1000 is available at group asset level only and at member asset level the NBV remains same as original amount.

In the coming month i need to retire the A1 asset. If i retire the A1 asset then i need to retire full cost of  2000 but i believe this is not the correct NBV as we have done depreciation and depreciation amount is available at group asset level only. If i do full amount for member asset A1 then i will be doing the retirement of A1 asset more than its cost.

Howdy, Stranger!
