Absence Balance Deducting Incorrectly for Night Shifters (Shift Spanning 12 MN)

Content

Hi Experts,

We have set-up or Absence Plan as days and Absence Type as Hours, and have also set up a Work day definition at Start day.

We have employees on night shift where the filing of absence spans to the next day according to their shift schedule. For instance:

1. Shift Schedule from June 1 - 9 pm to 6 am and June 2 - 9 pm to 6 am

2.  Absence filed: Start: 01-Jun-2020 09:00 PM  End: 03-Jun-2020 6 am

3. Absence duration 18 hours

Absence duration is correct, because 1 day = 9 hours, however, when the Absence is submitted it deducts 3 days to the plan instead of just 2 days.

Howdy, Stranger!
