Alternative way to create Principal Investigator who are having terminated assignment

Hello Everyone,

I'm coming unstuck while creating PI. When Person have terminated assignment, system does not allow us to create Principal Investigator ( as Grants Personnel ).

How shall we fix this if we have 200+ number of records ?

Do we have any alternative way to create them apart from revert back termination and create them ?

Any suggestions would be appreciable.
