How to Remove the End Date of a Contact

We have some situations where an employee deleted (end-dated) a contact in error. Is there a way for us to remove the end-date of a contact? I can't see a way for us to do this in Manager Person/Contacts or in Family and Emergency Contacts or from Benefits. Has anyone successfully been able to remove the end-date?
