Parts Integration in CPQ ( Parts Description issue)

In parts integration description field is not populated from the source partner

Dear all,

We are doing parts integration, the source is PLM where the description field is a required field. We are able to map all the fields but in description field mapping facing an issue.

if we give *description then we are getting item id.

please help us is there any specific format to map the description field.
